Terms of Service

Cornerstone Resolution Company, LLC

1. Services Provided

We offer third-party estimating services for property claims. Services may include:

  • Xactimate estimates for roofing, exterior, interior, or mitigation scopes

  • Aerial roof sketches

  • Supplements

  • Onsite inspections (by request and pre-approval)

We do not provide insurance policy interpretation, coverage decisions, or claims negotiations.

2. Use of Estimates

All estimates are created using client-provided photos, scope notes, and documentation. They are provided for informational and pricing purposes only and do not guarantee carrier approval or payout.

Clients are solely responsible for verifying estimate accuracy before submission.

3. Limitations and Liability

  • We are not public adjusters, attorneys, contractors, or claims advocates.

  • Use of our estimates in any capacity beyond pricing documentation is at your own risk.

  • Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for services rendered.

  • We are not liable for delays, denied claims, or indirect damages.

4. Intellectual Property

Estimates remain the property of Cornerstone Resolution Company, LLC until paid in full. Use is restricted to internal business or claim submission. Public use or third-party distribution requires written permission.

5. Turnaround & Revisions

  • Standard turnaround: 1–3 business days after receiving all documentation.

  • One free revision is included per estimate. Additional revisions due to scope changes, oversight, or supplemental information may incur fees.

6. Pricing

Residential Estimates:

  • Roof Estimate (with aerial sketch): $85

  • Exterior Scope: +$25

  • Interior Sketch: +$50

  • Interior/Mitigation Estimate: $85

  • Projects over $30,000: 0.5% of total

  • Large Loss (over $150,000): 1% of total (requires approval)

Add-On Services:

  • Supplements: $50 each

  • Onsite Inspection: $360 (includes estimate & sketch)

Retainer Packages:

  • $500/month – 6 estimates

  • $975/month – 10 estimates

  • $1,250/month – 15 estimates

  • $2,000/month – 25 estimates

(Includes any mix of roof, exterior, or interior estimates with 1 free revision each. Additional estimates beyond package limits are billed at a 15% discount off standard rates. Large Loss submissions require prior approval and may incur added fees.)

Commercial Projects & Large Loss Estimates

  • Roof-Only Estimate (with aerial sketch): $250

  • Exterior Sketch/Scope: +$75

  • Interior Sketch/Scope: +$125

For larger commercial or residential property losses, pricing is determined based on project size, complexity, documentation requirements, and deliverables.

  • A written proposal will be provided before starting any commercial or large-loss project.

  • No work will begin without written approval (via email, signed estimate request, or official retainer).

  • If the project scope changes materially after approval, pricing may be reassessed with written notice.

  • Large Loss Estimates (typically over $150,000, multi-trade, or complex projects) are billed at 1% of total estimated value, unless otherwise negotiated.

  • Flat-rate pricing applies to simple roof-only estimates. Additional services (revisions, supplements, or project management) may be billed separately.

“Approval” includes written confirmation by email, signed estimate requests, or acceptance of an official proposal or retainer.

7. Payment Terms

  • Invoices are issued upon delivery via QuickBooks.

  • Accepted payment methods: Credit/Debit Card, ACH, Apple Pay, PayPal, or Venmo.

  • Payment due within 7 calendar days of invoice.

  • 5% late fee may apply to overdue balances.

8. Client Responsibilities

  • Submit complete and timely documentation

  • Communicate scope changes promptly

  • Ensure access for scheduled onsite visits

  • Review estimates and request changes within 3 business days

9. General Terms

  • We are an independent contractor — not your employee or representative.

  • Services may be delayed or interrupted due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., storms, outages).

  • Texas law governs this agreement.
